A curved sycamore desk
Sweden, circa 1935
A substantial curved desk of sculptural simplicity and elegant clean lines, attributed to Axel Einar Hjorth. The desk has three drawers and to the ‘front’ has two recessed shelves that echo the lines of the top. The desk is in wonderfully original condition with an excellent dry surface.
