With a dark blue, scalloped rim

Glass designer, Carlo Moretti was born and worked in Venice until his death in 2008. In 1958 he and his brother Giovanni established their “artisan factory” in Murano, successfully combining traditional glassblowing techniques with contemporary design to create pieces which captured the imaginations of collectors the world over. Examples of Moretti’s work can be found in museums around the world including the V&A in London and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
